In order to ensure that your Sunwill trousers stay looking good for as long as possible, it's important that you follow the washing instructions in the garment. Below is a summary of the different symbols and what they mean.
Because your Sunwill trousers can contain surplus dye, we recommend that you wash your trousers inside-out and separately the first time.
Please show consideration for the environment by thinking about how often you wash your trousers. Don't wash them too often – an individual stain can often be easily removed without the trousers needing to be completely washed.
Furthermore, reducing the temperature of the wash can have a major influence on the environment, without it being noticed in the clothes. Clothes can definitely be washed at lower temperatures than those given in the washing instructions – this simply indicates the maximum washing temperature. Explanation of Symbols
30°C very mild process (wool wash cycle): Articles made, e.g. of machine-washable wool. This washing cycle ensures a much reduced mechanical treatment. The drum should be not more than a third full.
30°C mild process: The drum should be not more than half full. Avoid spinning or spin for short periods only to minimise the risk of creasing.
30°C coloured wash (normal process): Washing cycle, e.g. for dark coloured articles in cotton, polyester, mixed fabrics etc.
40°C very mild process (wool wash cycle): For articles e.g. in machine-washable wool. This washing cycle uses a much reduced mechanical treatment. Reduce the load of laundry substantially. The drum should be not more than a third full.
40°C mild process: Fine laundry, e.g. in modal, viscose, synthetic fibres (polyacryl, polyester and polyamide). Reduce the laundry load by half. Pre-wash only heavily soiled textiles. Avoid spinning or only spin for short periods to minimise the risk of creasing.
40°C coloured wash (normal process): Washing cycle e.g. for dark coloured articles made of cotton, polyester, mixed fabrics etc.
Do not wash: Articles marked in this way must not be washed.
Do not bleach.
Mild drying process: Caution is appropriate when tumble drying. Select mild process withreduced action (temperature 60°C, duration of treatment).
Normal drying process: Drying in the tumbler is possible under normal load and temperature (80°C) without limitations.
Do not tumble dry: Articles unsuitable for drying in the tumbler.
Drip line drying.
Iron at low temperature: Iron at maximal sole plate temperature of 110°C. Corresponding to the polyacryl, polyamide (nylon), acetate setting. If necessary, shiny - or pressure - sensitive pieces should be ironed inside out. Do not use steam.
Iron at moderate temperature. Iron at maximal sole plate temperature of 150°C. Corresponding to the wool / silk / polyester / viscose setting. A steam iron can be used. Avoid heavy pressure.
Do not iron: Irreversible changes must be expected if an iron is used.
Professional dry cleaning in: Tetrachloroethene and / or Hydrocarbons. Normal cleaning process with no restrictions.
